MUSEUM OPEN DAYS TO BEGIN NATIONWIDE IN MONGOLIA
As part of Mongolia’s long-, medium-, and short-term development policy, since 2018, the “Museum Open Days” event has been organized in the first week of March every year to foster national pride and patriotism in children and young people through Mongolian state traditions, history, cultural monuments, and works of art.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth is organizing the “MUSEUM OPEN DAYS 2026” event nationwide from March 1-7 to foster national pride and patriotism in children, young people, and family members through history, cultural monuments, and works of art, and to support family education and collective participation.
As part of the "Museum Open Days 2026" event, all state and local museums operating in Ulaanbaatar city and 21 aimags will offer their permanent exhibition halls to citizens and the public free of charge.
