The annual “OYUNLAG OYUTAN” scientific conference, traditionally organized by the National Museum of Natural Sciences, was successfully held for the 11th year this year and the winners were announced.

The main goal of this conference is to make the results of research in the fields of museum and cultural studies, paleontology, biodiversity, geology, and geography known to the public, to promote the activities of the museum, and to develop the creative thinking of university and university researchers and students and encourage their research work.

In addition to guest presentations from the National Museum of Natural Sciences, the Institute of Plant Conservation, the Institute of Biology, and the University of Internal Affairs, a total of 15 presentations were discussed by students from the State University of Mongolia (NUM), the University of Science and Technology (SHUTIS), and the University of Culture and Arts (SUIS).

The conference discussed research projects in the following 4 main areas:

Museum and cultural studies

Biological species research and conservation

Subject Paleontology Geology and Geography Research Students who won the top three places: Congratulations to the research students who led the others in their goals, importance, and research results and won the top three places!
