The meeting of the project of the international exhibition "Guardians of the Steppes", which is being implemented in collaboration with the Senckenberg Natural History Museum of Germany in order to expand the foreign cooperation of the National Museum of Natural Sciences and promote the unique natural and cultural heritage of Mongolia to the world, was successful.
During the meeting, the Director of the National Museum of Natural Sciences, Dr. N. Manchuk, introduced the new construction. As part of the preparations for organizing this large-scale exhibition, the parties continue to hold official meetings in a multilateral format. On the Mongolian side, the University of Culture and Arts, the State University of Mongolia, and the Mongolian-German Joint University of Minerals and Technology are working together to plan, organize, and prepare the exhibition.
The "Guardian of the Steppes" exhibition will be an international exhibition with an interesting solution that expresses the connection and interdependence of nature, culture, and humanity through a unique combination of science and culture. The opening of the international exhibition is scheduled for April 2027 in Germany, and will travel to European and Asian countries until 2031, reaching an international audience and introducing Mongolia's cultural heritage.
