“MUSEUM OPEN DAYS 2026” SCHEDULE AND THE LAW ON MUSEUMS

We are introducing you to Article 9 of the Law on Museums of Mongolia.

Article 9. Fees for museum services

9.1. Children under the age of 16 who are citizens of Mongolia shall use the museum exhibition hall free of charge.

9.2. Services other than those specified in Article 9.1 of this Law may be subject to a fee, and the amount of such fee shall be determined by the museum director in consultation with the founder.

9.3. The museum director shall provide a discount on service fees for the following citizens when using the exhibition hall.

       9.3.1. Citizens specified in Article 3.1 of the Law on the Elderly;

       9.3.2. Citizens specified in Article 4.1.1 of the Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities;

Note: Children under the age of 16, senior citizens, and disabled people can use the exhibition hall of the Natural History Museum free of charge at any time of the year.

From Sunday, March 1, 2026, to Saturday, March 7, 2026, the Natural History Museum will be open continuously during the "Museum Open Days" event.

The last visitor will be admitted at 16:00. Please follow the rules of the museum and serve in a civilized manner.

Note: Taking photos and recording videos using professional photographic equipment is prohibited in the museum.
